mceHideSVP is a small hack to hide the "shared viewport" in Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center Edition®. When you stop live tv or a video, then this shared viewport will stay in the left bottom corner of your Media Center:

Now you just need to start mceHideSVP and the shared viewport is gone:

Now you have the full screen for the whole information a plugin or any other part of Media Center wants to show you.

Installation/Usage:

1. Download this mcl-file (right click on disk -> "Save Target As...") and save it in your folder for the "more programs" section of you MCE (normally "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Media Center\Media Center Programs")
2. (Re-) start MCE
3. Just open "More Programs"  -> "Hide SVP" to hide the shared viewport every time you want to hide it!
