This plugin brings all your contacts to your television!

The plugin integrates seemlessly into the Microsoft Windows Media Center Interface. The Media-Center part of the plugin can be navigated only by your Remote Control for your Media Center.
But it can also be used on any other Media Center System using Internet Explorer 6. |

You can show all your contacts grouped by last name, first name, city or company. So you can find all your friends in your city very quick. |

Several information can be stored and managed by the plugin: first name, last name, street, zip, city, country, private phone, company phone number, mobile, faximile, image (bmp, jpg or gif), email-adress, website and additional notes.
When you open the details of your contact, this information is presented on two pages if necessary.
If you have also installed mcePhone for Skype, you can directly call any of your contact's phone numbers via Skype® without even grabbing your phone. |
| When you start the plugin, your last shown contacts are listed again. If you want to call one of your friends again, you don't have to search to find the phone number again. |

To edit, import and manage all your contacts, the free ContactManager-application is installed with the product:
The ContactManager can import contacts from your locally installed Microsoft Outlook®, Skype® or Windows Address Book (WAB):
By default, all contacts are stored in a Microsoft Access® Database that any other application can fill with data or edit. Any Database can be used to store your contacts. mceContacts has been tested with Microsoft Access MDB and mySQL Database (SQL script to create tables are coming with the product). You can easily change the dataconnection of mceContacts in the ContactManager via the standard Microsoft ADO® dataconnection-dialog:
You can also import/synchronize your contacts from Outlook®, Skype® or Windows Address Book with a batch file. So you can add a scheduled task to sync the contacts and you will never have to edit the contacts in mceContacts again. |

The language of the program can be chosen from  english,  german,  dutch and  french. Even the setup is in your language: the first question the program will ask is the language to use during installation and in the program itself. The question is asked in the language your windows is installed in.
